What is a Single Session Consultation?

Single session therapy (SST) is evidence-based approach to help identify and address challenges in a brief way, usually from one to three sessions (so not necessarily a “single” session).

Therapeutic Approach:

Single Session Therapy (SST) is an approach that prioritises the needs of an individual, couple, or family in a time limited way. SST treats each session as if it were the only one, aiming to make the most of the time available by focusing on the most immediate issue, defining a clear, specific goal to work towards, focusing on strengths and skills, and helping to identify and practice things to become “unstuck”.
